Juno and Inception star Ellen Page will join Alec Baldwin and Jesse Eisenberg in Woody Allen's new (and as yet untitled) movie. Already previously announced to be attached the project is Allen favourite Penelope Cruz, who wowed audiences with her performance in Vicky Cristina Barcelona which, let's face it, is Allen's only stellar movie of recent times. It really remains to be seen if Allen can reach the heights of his previous works like Manhattan and Annie Hall but the filmmaker has recently left the idea of producing films in New York, with the notable exception of Whatever Works, in favour of producing films in Europe with varying degrees of success. We'll still watch this collaboration with Page, Baldwin, Eisenberg et al but we really just hope that he has one more opus left in him.

Jennifer Lopez cringes at 'Most Beautiful Woman' TV tribute
American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez cringed as Ryan Seacrest paid a tribute to her new title as People magazine's World's Most Beautiful Woman. The 41-year-old superstar's proud husband Marc Anthony looked on from the audience as the studio honoured her by playing Frank Sinatra's classic Most Beautiful Girl In The World. J-Lo put her head in her hands as the studio flashed up this week's magazine cover at the beginning of Wednesday night's live episode. The crowd cheered as Seacrest said, "A huge congratulations to Jennifer Lopez. "Marc Anthony is so lucky. We love you, congratulations."
Mariah Carey: 'My friends call me a mermaid'
Mariah Carey has revealed that she can't get enough of being in the water – so much so that her friends have dubbed her a 'mermaid'. The 42-year-old singer is expecting twins with husband Nick Cannon and said that even pregnancy hasn't been able to stop her from swimming. She told OK magazine, "As far as exercise, I love the water. I always have. I was swimming daily until the doctors advised me to limit my activities. There will be a time for that afterwards. "People that know me call me a mermaid because I love the water so much, be it an ocean, lake, water park, even a river or a creek. "I'm actually in the bath tub right now."
Angelina Jolie 'wants to save the world'
Angelina Jolie has reportedly adopted so many children because she has a 'deep need' to help others. The actress has three biological and three adopted children with partner Brad Pitt, and is renowned for her work as a humanitarian. And a source told Grazia that the 35-year-old comes into contact with so many children living in poverty and danger that she wants to help them all. "Angelina sees so many children suffering and she makes a point of bonding with each child she meets, so it's natural she wants to bring some of them home with her," said the insider. "She has this deep need to save the world." She recently had the coordinates of Brad's birthplace in Shawnee, Oklahoma, tattooed onto her arm, and a second source explained, "That tattoo is her way of saying they'll always be tied together."
Jennifer Aniston dating Bradley Cooper?
Jennifer Aniston is reportedly dating Bradley Cooper following his split from Renee Zellweger. The 42-year-old Friends star was first linked to Cooper in 2009 when they met on the set of He's Just Not That Into You, and according to People, they have got back in touch with one and other. "In the past few weeks, they have stayed in contact," a source said. "They have a lot in common. "Jen always had a soft spot for Bradley, and she thinks he is very attractive and charming. Jen appreciates that Bradley is low-key, loves dogs, and is focused on his movie career." Cooper began dating ex Renee in August 2009, but the pair split earlier this year.
Kelly Preston 'not stressing' about baby weight
Kelly Preston has revealed that she is in no hurry to shed her baby weight. She and husband John Travolta welcomed baby Benjamin in November 2010, and Kelly, 48, said that she has decided to just lose the weight naturally over time. She told People, "I haven't been working out. At all. Maybe that's the secret. Don't stress about it. "It certainly would be better if I started to exercise, but I had a c-section so my stomach muscles weren't very strong. I wanted to do some dance classes but it was a little too much. I was down for the count. "I've been lucky because I've been breastfeeding so that's really helped me lose the weight. That really is the secret."
Things That Make You Go Ewwww... An OK! Magazine Special
OK, OK! Let's break down the deluge of things wrong with this cover.
We'll start off with the less obvious machinations: Peter Andre's head. Never pleasant. As for the story, it's the very pressing news involving his date with a "stunning Scottish nanny."
Secondly, it seems Chantelle off Big Brother and the muscle enthusiast from UK Crimewatch have decided they are nothing without each other, so have made the tentative step towards bringing a child into the world. And don't they both look thrilled about it, all trussed up in a Mr. Darcy Takes a Dolly Bird sorta way.
Christ, I just noticed Jordan's lurking at the top right. As for her "bitter battle" with bona fide TV personality Katie Piper, gis a break. All they share is a first name and a time slot. Piper has more class in her little finger than Price has in her entire being, all past implants included.
Right, on to the main subject at hand. And there I thought the Twit Pic of her belly was a bit much... A rather audible "EWWWWWW" was emitted in the local Spar when I clocked it. Here is Mariah Carey getting her bare breasts aggressively cupped by her husband. Demi Moore's 1992 cover of Vanity Fair, it is not. Then again, perhaps the aggressive cuppage is a necessity... Prior to the pregnancy, they did have the tendency to flail akimbo, like a pair of wayward elbows. They could be like a set of splayed legs at this stage, who knows. Although limbs in a state of squat is probably just springing to mind given the headline: "I WISH MY BABIES WOULD GET OFF MY BLADDER!"
Think that's the worst of it? Nope. Check out the mark up in price. "Only £1.49" in the UK. €2.29 here. Even with the exchange rate, that mark up is stomach churning...
Also shouting at me from the newspaper stand in the local Spar... The Evening Herald. Something about Tubridy moving to the Beeb.
