Juno and Inception star Ellen Page will join Alec Baldwin and Jesse Eisenberg in Woody Allen's new (and as yet untitled) movie. Already previously announced to be attached the project is Allen favourite Penelope Cruz, who wowed audiences with her performance in Vicky Cristina Barcelona which, let's face it, is Allen's only stellar movie of recent times. It really remains to be seen if Allen can reach the heights of his previous works like Manhattan and Annie Hall but the filmmaker has recently left the idea of producing films in New York, with the notable exception of Whatever Works, in favour of producing films in Europe with varying degrees of success. We'll still watch this collaboration with Page, Baldwin, Eisenberg et al but we really just hope that he has one more opus left in him.

Jennifer Lopez cringes at 'Most Beautiful Woman' TV tribute
American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez cringed as Ryan Seacrest paid a tribute to her new title as People magazine's World's Most Beautiful Woman. The 41-year-old superstar's proud husband Marc Anthony looked on from the audience as the studio honoured her by playing Frank Sinatra's classic Most Beautiful Girl In The World. J-Lo put her head in her hands as the studio flashed up this week's magazine cover at the beginning of Wednesday night's live episode. The crowd cheered as Seacrest said, "A huge congratulations to Jennifer Lopez. "Marc Anthony is so lucky. We love you, congratulations."
Mariah Carey: 'My friends call me a mermaid'
Mariah Carey has revealed that she can't get enough of being in the water – so much so that her friends have dubbed her a 'mermaid'. The 42-year-old singer is expecting twins with husband Nick Cannon and said that even pregnancy hasn't been able to stop her from swimming. She told OK magazine, "As far as exercise, I love the water. I always have. I was swimming daily until the doctors advised me to limit my activities. There will be a time for that afterwards. "People that know me call me a mermaid because I love the water so much, be it an ocean, lake, water park, even a river or a creek. "I'm actually in the bath tub right now."
Angelina Jolie 'wants to save the world'
Angelina Jolie has reportedly adopted so many children because she has a 'deep need' to help others. The actress has three biological and three adopted children with partner Brad Pitt, and is renowned for her work as a humanitarian. And a source told Grazia that the 35-year-old comes into contact with so many children living in poverty and danger that she wants to help them all. "Angelina sees so many children suffering and she makes a point of bonding with each child she meets, so it's natural she wants to bring some of them home with her," said the insider. "She has this deep need to save the world." She recently had the coordinates of Brad's birthplace in Shawnee, Oklahoma, tattooed onto her arm, and a second source explained, "That tattoo is her way of saying they'll always be tied together."
Jennifer Aniston dating Bradley Cooper?
Jennifer Aniston is reportedly dating Bradley Cooper following his split from Renee Zellweger. The 42-year-old Friends star was first linked to Cooper in 2009 when they met on the set of He's Just Not That Into You, and according to People, they have got back in touch with one and other. "In the past few weeks, they have stayed in contact," a source said. "They have a lot in common. "Jen always had a soft spot for Bradley, and she thinks he is very attractive and charming. Jen appreciates that Bradley is low-key, loves dogs, and is focused on his movie career." Cooper began dating ex Renee in August 2009, but the pair split earlier this year.
Kelly Preston 'not stressing' about baby weight
Kelly Preston has revealed that she is in no hurry to shed her baby weight. She and husband John Travolta welcomed baby Benjamin in November 2010, and Kelly, 48, said that she has decided to just lose the weight naturally over time. She told People, "I haven't been working out. At all. Maybe that's the secret. Don't stress about it. "It certainly would be better if I started to exercise, but I had a c-section so my stomach muscles weren't very strong. I wanted to do some dance classes but it was a little too much. I was down for the count. "I've been lucky because I've been breastfeeding so that's really helped me lose the weight. That really is the secret."
Things That Make You Go Ewwww... An OK! Magazine Special
OK, OK! Let's break down the deluge of things wrong with this cover.
We'll start off with the less obvious machinations: Peter Andre's head. Never pleasant. As for the story, it's the very pressing news involving his date with a "stunning Scottish nanny."
Secondly, it seems Chantelle off Big Brother and the muscle enthusiast from UK Crimewatch have decided they are nothing without each other, so have made the tentative step towards bringing a child into the world. And don't they both look thrilled about it, all trussed up in a Mr. Darcy Takes a Dolly Bird sorta way.
Christ, I just noticed Jordan's lurking at the top right. As for her "bitter battle" with bona fide TV personality Katie Piper, gis a break. All they share is a first name and a time slot. Piper has more class in her little finger than Price has in her entire being, all past implants included.
Right, on to the main subject at hand. And there I thought the Twit Pic of her belly was a bit much... A rather audible "EWWWWWW" was emitted in the local Spar when I clocked it. Here is Mariah Carey getting her bare breasts aggressively cupped by her husband. Demi Moore's 1992 cover of Vanity Fair, it is not. Then again, perhaps the aggressive cuppage is a necessity... Prior to the pregnancy, they did have the tendency to flail akimbo, like a pair of wayward elbows. They could be like a set of splayed legs at this stage, who knows. Although limbs in a state of squat is probably just springing to mind given the headline: "I WISH MY BABIES WOULD GET OFF MY BLADDER!"
Think that's the worst of it? Nope. Check out the mark up in price. "Only £1.49" in the UK. €2.29 here. Even with the exchange rate, that mark up is stomach churning...
Also shouting at me from the newspaper stand in the local Spar... The Evening Herald. Something about Tubridy moving to the Beeb.

Catherine Zeta Jones Takes Stock
What a palaver. She had a stint in a mental health facility to help her assess her stress levels after helping her husband and their children through his cancer. So, naturally, the press have opted to go with front page headlines like ZETA IN MENTAL HEALTH CLINIC and bolding words such as PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL. That's supportive.
To clarify, she's no longer in the health clinic, she spent five days there last week. This comes from her rep: "After dealing with the stress of the past year, Catherine made the decision to check into a mental health facility for a brief stay to treat her bipolar II disorder. She's feeling great and looking forward to starting work this week on her two upcoming films." Thank God the rep didn't mention the film titles, otherwise my cynical bone would start itching...
For those of you not aux fait with Bipolar II, it's a "less extreme version of bipolar disorder, formerly called manic depression. It can be triggered by major stress."
The Sun has further details regarding Catherine's stint in Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Connecticut, "An insider said the Oscar winner ate her meals with the other patients and played poker with them before bed. Silver Hill is an alcohol, drug and psychiatric rehab facility whose previous famous patients have included Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey and Liza Minnelli. Catherine had been dropped off at the clinic by caring Michael - who she has bravely supported in his own health battle. Another source said: 'She's been through hell. The pressure has been almost unbearable. She's had more sleepless nights than you would possibly know, worrying whether her husband would pull through'."
Fair play, she recognised that something wasn't quite right and dealt with it head on, as opposed to the "Sure I'm fine, my leg's not hanging off, sure who am I to haul myself off for a few days head rest, that's nonsense *tsks* 'Nother bottle of wine?" route.
Obviously, not everyone can afford the luxury of whipping themselves off to presumably swish rehab facilities, but taking some time out to run/swim somewhere, breathe in the sea/fresh cut grass, make a meal from scratch, or take some time to dig in the garden/window box is a good start...
Is anyone else cuddling themselves right now? Just me? OK.

First Details Emerge For Avatar Sequels
Well, this was something of an inevitability. James Cameron is locking down locations where he intends to shoot the two sequels to his massive success (if massively boring and overrated) Avatar. Manhattan Beach in California is set to double for the alien world of Pandora, with Cameron's company Lightstorm Entertainment making if their base of operations. Avatar 2 and 3 will be shot back-to-back with the first sequel slated to hit screens on December 2014 and the second sequel about a year after that
Hear Rihanna's S&M Remix ft Britney Spears
All week there have been reports that Britney had teamed up with Rihanna for a remix of the Barbadian singer's hit single 'S&M'. The reports were fuelled by a conversation between the girls over Twitter, in which Rihanna said, "I got a #SEXY collabo comin your way supa dupa soon!!!! OH YEAH!!! By popular demand ... Its BRITNEY BITCH!!!!"
Now the track has been unveiled, and I have to say, it's an awful pile of poo. It could be a mediocre Britney impersonator for all you can tell, and the overall mix of the song has barely been touched. Feels like Britney's clutching at publicity straws at this stage. But don't take my word for it. Listen yourself...

Aubrey O'Day and Aundrea Fimbres 'aren't going anywhere'
Aubrey O'Day was thrilled to be reunited with Danity Kane pal Aundrea Fimbres to record a new single, but the new venture crashed and burned, leaving the singer in meltdown mode. The friends got together in the studio on the series finale of Oxygen TV's All About Aubrey to help boost O'Day's new solo career. They had become firm friends in 2005 during MTV's Making The Band, which documented rap mogul Diddy's big search for a new girl group. But their dreams were shattered when the band fell apart only a few years later. O'Day, a 27-year-old Playboy model, endured a very public split with her mentor Diddy and hasn't been shy about sharing her struggles with getting a new recording contract during her reality TV show. "I may not be able to bring Danity Kane back," she told viewers. "But Aubrey and Aundrea aren't going anywhere. I love every minute I spend with her in the studio."
Liz Hurley bans fruit and veg after 4pm
Liz Hurley has revealed that she refuses to eat fruit and veg after 4pm in a bid to maintain her slim figure. But the actress admitted that while she always starts out with the best intentions, her efforts sometimes fall by the wayside. Talking to Hello! magazine, she explained, "I've never been in danger of losing too much weight. I do watch what I eat and try to eat healthily but I frequently fall by the wayside. "Right now, I'm drinking protein shakes mid morning and I think they really help. I also don't eat raw fruits and vegetables after 4pm and follow a low-fat diet with very little dairy." She has designed her own beachwear collection but said that at 45-years-of-age, she has traded her bikinis for swimming costumes. "I certainly love everything we produce, but we sell a lot to women both younger and older than me," she said. "I often wear one pieces now, but they're really sexy ones, with chains and crystals. I still dread the thought of shooting bikinis and we actually used a fabulous young Brazilian model this time too. Her body is amazing - she's 20 years younger than me!"
Reese Witherspoon: 'Wedding was perfect'
Blushing bride Reese Witherspoon has revealed that her wedding day was 'perfect'. The 35-year-old married Hollywood agent Jim Toth last month in front of celebrity guests including Renee Zellweger, Matthew McConaughey and Tobey Maguire. And talking to Hello! she said that the day could not have gone any better. "The wedding was a wonderful experience. Everything went perfectly, right down to the dress, which I just loved," she said. "Monique (Lhuillier, designer) made it specially for me. She's been a family friend of Jim's for a very long time and it was an honour to be able to go into her atelier and have her make one of her beautiful gowns for me. I was just delighted." The actress, who was previously married to Ryan Phillippe, said that she knew Toth was the man for her the minute he proposed. "I knew he was 'the one' all right. A clue was when he asked me to marry him and I said yes right away. Didn't have to think about it. It just feels like the right thing at the right time in my life," she said. "Everything's great with my kids. They get along with Jim really well. Well, obviously I wouldn't have married him if they hadn't... "I don't profess to be an expert on love. I've had my ups and downs in relationships as you know, and as I get older I get more nervous about things, not less. And certainly I've had trepidation about getting into a relationship and getting married again. "But you know, life is short, and happiness is just as important as any other element of your life, and I think if someone gives you an opportunity to be happy, then you should jump at it. I've never wanted fear to be a reason I didn't do something. That's no way to live."
Halle Berry: 'I've been an idiot in love'
Halle Berry believes that she has 'been an idiot' when it comes to her love life. The 44-year-old actress, who has been married twice to David Justice and Eric Benet, and has daughter Nahla with model Gabriel Aubry, said that she thinks her judgement has been clouded by the fact that her father walked out on her when she was just a child. She told The Sun, "I wish I had known then that I was not the marrying kind. It would have saved me a lot of time, heartache, and grief over the years. "I made all the wrong choices when it came to love. I have been an idiot. But, now, it is like a gift to myself- seeing more clearly and making better decisions. "One thing was unavoidable. My father left us when I was young and that did affect my life. If I had a good father in my life, growing up, then I do not think I would have made the mistakes I made. I would not have been lost in love."
Jessica Simpson 'honoured' by invite to sing for the troops
Jessica Simpson feels 'honoured' to have been invited to sing for the troops. The star has been personally asked to perform at a special awareness-raising baseball game by US President Barack Obama's wife Michelle. The First Lady requested that Simpson sing at the game in Denver, Colorado on Wednesday, April 13, as part of her initiative to recognise American service members. Simpson told Usmagazine.com: "(The First Lady) asked me to sing for the troops. That's a huge honour for me. Just to be there and show my support and say thank you."
Kim Kardashian upset over Turkish Cosmopolitan magazine cover
Armenian-American Kim Kardashian is upset over her Turkish Cosmopolitan magazine cover as it is the same country that committed genocide on her fellow Armenians in the early 20th Century. The reality star claimed she was never made aware that the international cover shoot would end up on the Turkish version of the magazine, insisting that she would never have agreed to the shoot if she had known. Genocide Remembrance Day marks the extermination of the Armenian population by Turkey during and following World War I. Speaking on her blog, the Kourtney and Kim Take New York star wrote: "I had no idea that Turkey was planning to run my story on their cover THIS month, considering Genocide Remembrance Day is this month. "My Armenian heritage means a lot to me and I have been brought up to be incredibly proud of my family's background and culture so as an Armenian-American woman it is a huge honour for me to be on the first ever Armenian Cosmopolitan cover." On April 24, the Armenians will commemorate those lost in the genocide, just weeks after the 30-year-old appeared on the front of the magazine in Turkey.
Robbie Williams has become good friends with Princess Beatrice
Singer Robbie Williams has become good friends with Princess Beatrice after she visited his LA home. The Take That star, 37, lives in a £10million home in Beverly Hills and Beatrice, 22, met him when her mum took her there for a visit. It's claimed she has now been given an invitation to visit him at any time and he has even been calling her 'sis' as a joke. A source said to UK newspaper The Sun: "Robbie gets on really well with Beatrice. He treats her like a little sister and looks after her. It's really sweet." Beatrice's mum Fergie, 51, is a good friend of the singer's and regularly visits him there. The source added: "A few of Robbie's football pals were round the other week and Fergie was just wandering about in her robe. She came and said hello and was really charming."
Rihanna: 'I want to spank Britney Spears'
Pop superstar Rihanna has said she wants to spank Britney Spears in a new radio interview. Rhi Rhi, 23, and Britney, 29, have teamed up to collaborate on a remix of Rihanna's single S&M, which previewed on the internet yesterday. And during a radio interview promoting the new tune the Barbadian beauty told of her kinky intentions towards Britney. Speaking during an interview with New York's Z100 radio yesterday about whether the two women would be doing a video for the remixed track, Rihanna, said: "I hope so. I want to spank Britney." She then went on to discuss how the collaboration came about. The singer said: "It's very strange. Britney never does features. It was really amazing that she really wanted to be part of this song. "She really liked the song to begin with, but it was a different story when she had to sing it, and she really wanted to be a part of it. It made it really, really special, because you never see two pop female artists doing songs together anymore." The star added: "In order to do a remix, it had to be major. I asked my fans last week who they wanted me to collaborate with, and Britney was one of the most popular names."

Carrie Underwood: 'Married life has its challenges'
Carrie Underwood has admitted that life as a married woman has its 'challenges'. The 28-year-old country singer had been living in Nashville while her hockey player husband Mike Fisher was up in Canada with the Ottawa Senators. But a transfer to The Nashville Predators saw him, and 'all his c**p' move in with Underwood. Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, Carrie said, "Married life is great. It comes with its own wonderfulness and challenges." "We started out you know we got married. He went back to Canada. I went back to Nashville... then he got traded to Nashville. "He came and he brought all of his c**p with him. Our house became... he's not a hoarder but he's close, maybe. "We had it in all the guest bedrooms and he had it boxed up and stuff. He's like 'babe, I need more space in the closet' and my heart just sinks. He'll keep like shirts and stuff and I'll go through it. You online shop, you go shopping. He loves to shop. He's going to kill me."
Jennifer Lopez left red-faced by Iggy Pop on American Idol
It was a shocking elimination night on American Idol as judge-favourite Pia Toscano was eliminated and Jennifer Lopez was left red-faced by Iggy Pop. Toscano was kicked off the singing competition after the viewer vote, much to the dismay of the judges. Just eight contestants now remain. "I can't believe what just happened here," said J-Lo. "I'm shocked and angry – I don't know what to say." Randy Jackson added, "I'm with Jennifer, all in shock." Jennifer Lopez had to look away during Iggy Pop's performance of Wild One as he gyrated his hips just inches from her face during his performance. She was the last judge to her feet to applaud the legendary punk rocker.
Jennifer Aniston: 'cheese and wine make me happy'
Jennifer Aniston has appeared on the cover of Marie Claire Australia and says a 'nice cheese' and a 'beautiful sunset' are now what make her happy. She also says she would love to have children, but she's not 'freaking out' about becoming a mother. The 42-year-old also said she is 'not ruling out' having a baby via artificial insemination, like the character in her latest movie. Talking about what makes her happy, she added, "I like to spend time my time with friends and enjoy a good bottle of wine and some nice cheese and have great conversations. "And it may sound trivial, but one of the things that truly makes me happiest is just watching a beautiful sunset." She also talked about her new movie The Switch, in which she plays a 40-something career woman who decides to have a baby via artificial insemination. She said, "I would love to have children, but I'm not freaking out about not being a mother. "I don't think I would necessarily follow my character Kassie's route, but I'm not ruling that out, either."
Natalie Portman isn't bothered by baby weight
Natalie Portman revealed that she is not worried about losing her baby weight after the birth of her first child. The 29-year-old Black Swan star said that she does not mind carrying a few extra pounds as it will be more 'comfy' for a new baby. When asked if she had any qualms about getting her pre-pregnancy figure back, Natalie replied, "No. I mean it will be what it's meant to be. "If you're a little softer I'm sure it's more comfy for a little kid to sleep on." The Oscar winning actress had to drop 20lbs for her part as the troubled ballerina but said it was 'necessary' for the role. The day she finished filming she said that she stopped working out and 'ate everything in the world'. Speaking about her baby bump, Natalie added, "It's really fun. "I love having the evidence of the baby cause I think it's weird, the part of the pregnancy where you don't see any changes." "It's really fun to have the constant physical reminders." The actress can be next be seen in comedy Your Highness alongside James Franco.
Jane Lynch is deaf in one ear
Jane Lynch has revealed that she is actually deaf in on ear. The 50-year-old Glee star said that she first realised when she was playing with her brother as a seven year old. She told the National Enquirer, "My brother was switching ears with his transistor radio and I said, 'You can't do that. You can only hear out of one ear.' And he was like, 'No. I hear out of both!' "I said, 'Mum, I only hear out of one ear'. And we went to the doctor. It's nerve deafness, probably from a very high fever when I was a baby." But she said she has managed to work round her disability. "I shoot the sound into my one good ear," she said. "If I think about it, I can straighten it out, but a hearing aid wouldn't even help (that ear) it's stone-cold deaf."
Natalie Portman 'superstitious' about pregnancy
Natalie Portman has revealed that she daren't do any 'baby stuff' until her unborn child arrives. The Black Swan star and her choreographer fiancé Benjamin Millepied have decided to wait for their new arrival before buying their baby things, and Portman said her caution is probably linked to her Jewish roots. She told Access Hollywood, "I think it's a Jewish thing to be kind of superstitious. You don't do any of the baby stuff before the baby arrives." The 29-year-old Oscar winner is rumoured to be expecting a baby boy, and said that so far, the pregnancy is going well. She added, "My back is not feeling great right now, sitting for so long. But everything's really great otherwise."
Jordan's Relationship With Penna Fellah Irrefutably Fake...
... he's only after saying he's attracted to her "brain." To be more specific, her "business brain." Which translates as "money making abilities thanks to wanton exposure issues and plastic bits." Ergo, he loves her for "her money." The end.
Right, not quite. For those of you still reading, here's what 25-year-old Leandro was instructed to say on the matter during a radio interview in his native Argentina: "She is like a registered mark that sells everything with her name on it..." That's more chronically depressing than impressive.
The model continued, spouting: "The great thing of all this is I was at the party (Elton's Oscar After Thingy) and I thought, 'I like this girl.' And I went and I didn't know anything about her, didn't even know her name (convincing). The party ended, we had two days in Los Angeles, then I went to London. She warned me that it was going to be chaos, but I couldn't have anticipated how much."
In addition to Leandro insisting he was attracted to Jordan's brain, he also said he was impressed by her abilities as a "professional singer."
As it transpires, Leandro is attempting to launch himself as a comedian in the UK. "Did I tell you the one about the pair of gigantesco flesh covered plástico bags writing fifteen books and now I live in a palace!?!"

Spears Wants to Postpone Tour, Shocker
Not indefinitely, mind. She's still on board with the whole joy that is tour buses, airports, dieting, jumping about like a frenzied stripper in front of baying crowds, interviews, little down time and no time for the kids... just not right now.
Various sources are reporting that Spears is reportedly asking to hold off on her Femme Fatale tour, which is set to kick off in California on June 17, but according to The Sun, she has caused "chaos" by asking to push the date back.
A source told the newspaper, "Britney has told her management that she wants to delay her concert dates because she's not feeling ready. She doesn't feel she has enough time to prepare and has asked management to pull all her dates and postpone everything until later on in the year. She's a perfectionist and wants everything to be better than ever before. She is having to compete with other huge female stars such as Rihanna and Lady Gaga now so she wants to step the show up... Obviously it's gone down like a lead balloon because venues and staff are booked and ready to go. They are trying to talk her round or at least hoping she'll consider going out in September. Either way, there are a lot of meetings going on about how to announce it and handle it. It's a massive headache."
Tickets for the show were due to go on sale on Saturday, but according to the report, this date has now been scrapped. Which has everything to do with Britney's perfectionism, and nothing to do with poor album sales, support acts absconding, the perma-dead eyes...

Robbie Williams 'likes LA positivity'
Robbie Williams has revealed that he likes the 'shallow' positivity of Los Angeles. The 37-year-old British singer lives in the US with wife Ayda Field, and said that people across the pond are a lot more optimistic than back in England. Talking to The Sun, he explained, "I live in LA and everything is very positive, where people say 'thank you, have a nice day' and all that sort of business. It can be shallow but I like it. Deadline.com today published a very intestesting article on the fact that Tron: Legacy helmer Joseph Kosinski has the title of "biggest grossing live action feature debut of all time."
Tron: Legacy was a gnat's nut hair from $400 million at the worldwide box-office, but cost around $170 million to produce, with further heavy costs in marketing. It will still turn a good profit for Disney, not least in the merchandise - Tron is now firmly a brand and even has its own Disneyland ride. The director closest to Kosinksi is JJ Abrams, who made his feature directorial effort with the fun Mission Impossible 3 - which turned in a global haul of $397.5 million. The film is released on DVD next week, and a sequel is still in the works at The Mouse House.
